Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain

This is when the lining of the womb is also present in places other than the inside of the womb itself e.g. inside the lower tummy, or behind the lower uterus or on the ovaries. As knowledge about endometriosis has spread, women are realising that they do not have to put up with debilitating pelvic pain every month. Anil believes in a full discussion of all the options available including lifestyle techniques, medications, devices and operations. The treatment of this debilitating condition has advanced considerably with the advent of laparoscopic surgery. Anil trained in endometriosis treatment techniques at the University Hospital in Cardiff, UK. It should be noted that surgery is not always the answer and other managements will also be discussed.

I cannot thank Dr Sharma and Anne enough for their kind, compassionate and life-saving care. Anne went out of her way to find me an appointment when I was in a bind. Dr Sharma was amazing from the get-go, listened to my concerns, thoroughly explained my situation and immediately provided me with top notch medical care. I will forever be grateful.

If you're looking for a gynecologist who'll listen and give you options and know about Endometriosis, who'll lay out a plan etc this is the Gynae for you.

Great at communicating, if surgery is the option you want to take then this is your Dr, will call on other specialists if needed to get a thorough tougher surgeries. I was grateful to have 3 surgeons for my 2nd Op as it was a lot more complicated this time round.

Easy to get answers if you're unsure of anything Anne is only an email or phone call away.

Highly reccomended helped me get diagnosed with Endometriosis, 2 surgeries later and I feel 100% no pain which is amazing and i know if it does come back Anil an Anne are only phone call / email away but hopefully I'm good for awhile 😊 😀

Dr Anil Sharma and Ann are an amazing team! (apologies for writing this post late - was meant to write this 7 months ago after my surgery!)

I received the best care and was very impressed with Dr Anil's professionalism and attitude. It makes a huge difference when someone like him believes you have endometriosis when other doctors don't. Because of his mannerisms and extensive knowledge, he has inspired me to learn more about women's health and take my education to a much higher level. Big massive thank you! God bless xx

Dr Anil Sharma is a very professional, warm and charming person. He gives clear concise information about procedures which is empowering. I would highly recommend him as a gynaecologist. Anne, his practice nurse/ manager is also a very professional and delightful person. Thank you for your care., Allison
